The ACT division of NALGA was formed in 1976 and is one of eight Divisions of NALGA across Australia. The purpose of the Association is to provide members with the opportunity to enjoy, regardless of handicap, camaraderie and serious competition with fellow lefties. Further information on the roles and activities of NALGA and its associated divisions can be found on the NALGA website: http://www.lefthandedgolfaustralia.com
The ACT division conducts events, mainly in the Canberra region, with members encouraged to invite right handed golfers to join us. State, National and World Championships provide opportunities for our members to enjoy competition not available to the average club golfer, not only in Australia, but throughout the World.
Membership is open to all left-handed golfers who are full playing members or associate members of golf clubs affiliated with the Australian Golf Union or a State Golf Union and who hold an official recognised handicap.
